Answers: And are there any physical, tangible effects of depression, like illness?

Yes, depression does cause procrastination, because nothing seems worth doing.

Depressed people often get unexplained aches and pains, particularly in their heads, stomachs, backs and limbs.

procrastination isnt an illness, its where you put off doing something
but in general, depression doesnt cause anything physical, except maybe lathargy.
its tough though
hope you or whoever gets through it :)

It's got to be the reason I am so bad at procrastianting. I am so slack at everything.

Absolutely!! Having depression makes you feel less motivated to do things (especially things you once enjoyed doing). It also causes you to have problems focusing and concentrating so its even more difficult to get things accomplished.

Sometimes people can have physical symptoms - like nausea, achy bones and muscles, exhaustion, fatigue..
