What is the best way to let out your anger?!
Question: I don't want to burst and give full reign to my anger, but at the same time I don't want to keep it bottled up since I am negatively affected by internalizing my emotions to the extent of suffering severe physical symptoms, the least of which is a head splitting migraine. What is the best way to deal with a situation like this without hurting anyone else and simultaneously preserving my own sanity?

I really hate to admit this, but i throw something, not at anyone, just smash things. I keep anything that gets chipped & then it dosnt matter. My husband thinks i'm mad, but it works, its like a dam bursts & i feel better.
It isn't often i need that, & nowadays he's got me a rubber ball that lights up if i hit it hard enough !
Hope this helps.
ps. i'm told you can buy rubber bricks = must get one, lol.
Run.
I mean it.
It works wonders.
Take it out on the pavement.
I bought boxing gloves and bag. When I am frustrated or overwhelmed i go to the cellar and punch the bag for a while. It is a great way to work off some aggravation. I am sure any form of physical activity will be therapeutic.
