Its funny that you ask that question. I was watching nancy grace and they had a segment on a woman who went to a children hospital and throw away her baby. Coincident or maybe your watching nancy grace. In any event, I think the woman is sick and needs help. She also left her two other children at home. How sick is that? Cheeez. I hope she get the help she so desperately needs.
that just makes me sick...they could atleast give them up for adoption
If I ever did that I probably would never forgive myself. I might even commit suicide over something like that.

i say let them. i don't know them and it's not my kid. it's their choice and they will suffer the consequences.

I think it is a very stupid thing to do seeing as how you can leave the child in a police station or fire station or any public place if you don't want it. Why would a person kill some on to whom they gave birth.
I think it's horrible how people can do such things. Espcially those prom-night dumpster babies, whenever frantic teenage mothers just toss their poor 'darling' childern away into the nearest dumpster.

We cannot judge them as we do not know them or their circumstance, what we can judge is there actions which are unacceptable and immoral.
Post partum and many other mental illnesses could be the cause of her actions, but in the end it boils down to this.

They are mentally ill. I won't say that they are free from prosecution, but the overall impression has to be that they aren't mentally healthy. Most women who birth a baby would kill to ensure the safety of that infant. Those that don't need Extreme evaluation. It's not normal or common. Proceed with caution and compassion. Sweetie, please try to reserve judgment. Bad action, true, but we don't know what motivated the act. May be a bad decision, may be an act of incompetence. Let a judge make the call. My best to the baby.
It sickens me! They shouldn't throw their baby away just because they don't want it. They should at least have the heart to bring it to a hospital or someplace where it can get the care it needs. These people should be put in jail for Child reckless endangerment.
It doesnt matter what their reason is. To put a helpless child in a trash can or street, is just plain evil. They should be killed just as well.
Kharma will catch up with them and they will have a life of misery and maggots will eat out their eyes, hopefully. CAn you imagine being a helpless infant, not even able to walk, and thinking that your parents love you so much until they put you in the dumpster and walk away and you are laying there thinking mom? dad? did u forget me?
Maybe you could start a NeighborHood Watch Program where all the neighbors check out the local dumpsters from time to time to see if any babies are in there. Watch for people carrying babies and watch them for suspicious behaviour.
Or realize that this is a beautiful, happy planet but from time to time there will be humans who will just mess things up totally.
Save the whales ... kill the humans ... but don't throw babies in the trash.
that's one of the most disgusting things i've ever heard of in my life. i would never even get an abortion nor do i support them, but doing something like throwing your new born baby in the trash, makes abortions look good to me. the baby is alive and living outside of you when you go and throw it out, where as an abortion you are, yes killing a baby, but before it got a chance to live on this earth. i absolutely adore children and would not be able to handle seeing, let alone hearing something like that happen without getting upset.
