Is it still classed as 'cutting' if...?!

Question: well, it started ageees ago. but i use scissors and scrape/cut-kind of a cross between both- on my arms. because of the feeling of cutting it, and the burining sensation after. its not enough to draw blood (except ONCE) is it still called 'cutting'

Yeah, sadly it is. And you are not a freak for cutting.. Different people release their stress and problems in different ways.. Not all of us can just forget about things. Atleast what you are doing right now probably will not leave you with scars, like razor blades do.. Try to take a run, or write in a diary or play guitar hero or something to release stress, and every day life problems! Trust me its better.. I have had way less thoughts about cutting..

uh yeah....get some professional help

yes

YEAH!!!!!!

self injury. basically the same thing.

no its called STOP IT

no your a scrapper ....lol

obviously
you should no do that

Yes, that is still "cutting" because you're self-harming. You need to get professional help or the only direction you'll go is down.

Yes.

You should really not do that, all your doing is hurting yourself.

Yes, it's still cutting. You should tell a parent or someone you're close to... Cutting is very serious. :(

You're considered a whackjob either way. So what does it matter?

If you have to ask...

well, self harm, get some help or talk to somebody you trust!

Yes that's cutting! And it doesn't even matter what term you want to use; you are doing physical harm to yourself and need to get help immediately!

You really need to stop doing that because it's crazy to do that to yourself. I'm not trying to be harsh or motherly or w/e, but that will lead NO WHERE! Just get help or w/e you need to do.

Yes it is,

It is self injury.

Please consider seeking some professional help. Your worth it!

yes.. sorry to say, but anything used as harm to yourself like that, to at least draw pain is classified as cutting. Stop, cutting doesn't solve problems... Good luck.

Yeah, it is, and its kind of stupid. Sorry, but go start a Fight Club or something.

its called self mutilation...seek help immediately. no matter how you slice it, its still called sliced bread.

Yes, it is a type of self-abuse.

Please get some counseling for yourself.

I will say a prayer for you.

it might be a variation of "cutting". Nevertheless, preoccupations in illiciting "sensations", could be an emotional condition that needs professional couseling. If you are unable to stop, even though there is no blood, you can cause irreversable scarring. I have a patient that has rubbed the knuckles with his thumb for so long his knouckles have so much scar tissue that his fingers look deformed.

Yes. And "cutting" is classified as Self Inflicted violence. Something your going to want to stop. Good Luck

Cutting or Self Mutilation. Why do you want to damage yourself? Your body is your sanctuary! You should never do that...To each his own tho I guess

At this point, I think this would be called: whittling

Of course it's still cutting!

Yes, you are still physically hurting yourself. You need to get some help to figure out why you are doing this. There is no reason for someone to mutilate themselves, even if it is not drawing blood. Get help!

lol

no.
just self-harm or self-infliction if you are not actually cutting your skin.

-looksatthumbsdownpeople-
-sighs-

NO ONE LIKES EMOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
STOP HURTING YOURSELF.

Try shoving it all the way in next time, it wont be cutting...just shoving.

YOUR JUST A FREAK WHO WOULD DO THAT?
