Is this a problem or just jealousy?!

Question: i consider myself a recovering cutter and bulimic. ive progressed alot in the past year. ive completely stopped cutting and i throwing up is on and off and very rare. my problem is my best friend, who was already 5"4 123 pounds lost 15 pouns in about 2 weeks. this is the first time shes been on a diet, all i know about it is that it doesnt involve eating very much, but it hasnt been exactly long-term yet. just the past few weeks. well now that shes so thin..i feel very jealous. a jealousy i cant even describe. and ive considered taking diet pills again. and maybe trying to cut down on eating. im 51" and 125 pounds..im not suree how i feel about that anymore. being 110 wouldnt be so bad. i just dont want to get in any old habbits again...what do i do?? and is 125 pounds too muchh??

believe it or not, but at one point or another we all have some envy towards someone else, even so called beautiful people envy other good looking people, so dont look at your flaws sweety, if you dont like certain things about you then it will make you happier if you go try and change them. knowing that you are improving yourself will make the difference, but dont hurry the process, it will take time. i know that for me just knowing that im givin and honest effort to my exercising makes me feel better....hope this helps

jealousy. for sure.

Exercise and healthy eating is always your diet answer.

A little bit jealous. Try not to worry about your weight. Don't weigh yourself! Exercise daily and eat right and you'll be toned. Don't take the diet pills. How much are you eating now/how much are you thinking about cutting down to? You don't want to be too thin.

125 is just right for your height. 130 would be fine too. I've been convinced that cycling is the best way to exercise for people who want to trim down a bit. Get an audio book or just music on an iPod and ride around for 30 minutes or so in the afternoon. If you can, ride longer. No need to go very fast. Have fun and the pounds will melt. Although, I'm not sure you need to lose any pounds... still, biking will be fun.

Don't worry about your friend. 15 pounds in 2 weeks sounds unhealthy. She'll probably gain it back soon anyway.

no, 125 lbs is not too much! Do not get into your old habits! You said you've progressed so keep that in mind and try to ignore those feelings, you are fine just the way you are.

Eating healthy at regular times and exercise your friend will get a rude shock if she thinks that method is going to work (The faster you lose weight it goes back on twice as fast) binging just causes stomach disorders.Whatever you think the outcome is going to be its going to be bad take your time although 125 lbs aint bad it seems a healthy weight at your height no one will be with a skeleton so just dont over do it
