Help i just wachted a scary movie right now can someone give me a tip on how to !

Some things that help me when I am scared at night:
Drink a cup of milk, it is said to calm the nerves
Think of the movie you watched. Now think of it in your own funny, wacky version with your own happy ending, for example, the bad guy is really your friend playing a prank on you!
Stretch your whole body, and work out! It will help make you feel tired and ready to sleep.
Count to 100 and back over and over again until you fall asleep, it helps keep your mind off of things.
Pay attention to your breathing. Breathe in, and out slowly as if you are sleeping.
Remind yourself nothing bad can happen to you and that it is only a movie. If you had never watched the movie, would you be scared? No, because you don't really have anything to be afraid of.
If you need noise, turn on the radio faintly. Don't turn on the lights because it will keep you awake. Instead open the blinds on the window.
Watch a comedy or kid/disney movie if you truely can't sleep to change your train of thought.

if your freaked out, then drink a warm cocoa. and listen to songs u like, and go to sleep.

Watch a nice movie now.

Go on a computer and play some games that will make you concentrate on something else...or read will do the same thing or watch something funny on tv....do something that will change your train of thought ...send some emails to people chat online etc etc......

Remake your bed as warm and comfortable you can. Put on lotion that smells good. Smell triggers most memories so if it good it will bring good memory. Play some soft music and just relax. NITE NITE, mamatx

do something calming like drink something warm and sit by the fireplace and draw or somethin stop thinkin about the movie

i garuntee sleep with in five mins! read your BIBLE! now, you can just pick anywhere- i mean, the book of revalations will give you a whole new scary thingy think about- but i'm talking Genisis 1:1 and from there! you get past a couple of chapters and hit the geneology stuff- such as my favorite stuff that sounds like this " obadiauh begat zubaria begat humeria begat cooperia begat yemaria and he had 32 sheep!" you'll be sawing logs in NO time!

Remember it is all costumes & make up.Just lay down close your eyes & play out everything in your mind how your day will go tomorrow.Start from the time you get up , what you will wear & all the friends you will see.& dont forget to say your prayers.No one can hurt you when God is watching over you.

well, if your bed is next to the wall, get close to the wall and get under your covers, but leave a small air hole, so you dont suffocate. if you also have a tv, turn it on and put it on sleep mode, and youll fall asleep with the tv on , before it turns off

Good grief. Reminds me of watching the Exorcist - yikes! I had to sleep with the radio on. Focusing on the radio kept me from thinking about the movie. They say you can only really focus on two or maybe three things at a time. Try to focus on your breathing, chest expanding, air going in and out, chest contracting. If you lose focus, gently tell yourself that it is ok and go back to thinking about your breathing. You will be bored silly and fall asleep.

REALIZE that its just a movie and lay down dont get scared. you have no reason to be scared until you actually SEE something. (which isnt going to happen)

think logically and you wont be scared anymore

Think about snuggling with a boy you really like and falling asleep in his arms.
