Question: I was prescribed Celexa for anxiety, but there's something that's telling me not to take it. I'm young, and I'm afraid that we don't know enough about the brain to be handing out drugs the way we do. Should I not take it and try other methods? I think you should listen to your intuition and look into more natural methods. I don't think that pumping our bodies full of chemicals is always the best way, although sometimes it is necessary. Exhaust your other alternatives before taking Celexa.

Maybe this is the first medication you have ever been prescribed. In the beginning it is kind of scary to take medicine. If you keep taking the Celexa, you will do it automatically. Try it for a while. Maybe it will help you feel better. Best Wishes
