Hi Joy:

ADHD Combined type is diagnosed when the patient presents themselves with hyperactivity AND inattentiveness. So in the same person there is lots of energy with also lots of not being able to stay focused or on task.

Here are a few sites that may help you find the information that you are searching for. Please feel free to contact me anytime, as I believe you have my contact info but if not, it is available in my profile and I will help out as much as I can.

Be safe and be well

Being a former Hyper Active Child I believe it is simply Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity. In other words not only are they extremely hyper but lack concentration as well. Nasty mix, I ended up growing out of it somewhat....

Someone say lunch?

See what I mean.

Hope it helps good luck :P

It means he shows symptoms of both hyperactive and inattentive type, and/or that he doesn't exactly fit into either category.
