If you and your friends think you have add, there are a few ways to deal with it. I have add. I was diagnosed when i was younger, and given medication for it. Being on the medication is worse than having add, honestly. So you dont want to go that route. What I do is smoke a little pot. ADD is caused because a certain part of your brain (i believe the frontal lobe) is working faster than the other parts of your brain. The marijuana actually slows down that part of the brain and since your brain is working at the same speed, will improve your concentration. I'm not condoning drug use by any means. Drugs are bad. I am just telling you what has worked for someone i know. (oh yeah this doesnt work for ADHD only ADD)

u mean aids and u can go solo on this ur considered an adult but u cant drink until21 yeah right lol anyway i think there is a test but go to the doctor much better

It all depends on if you have ADD or ADHD. I have ADD and find myself daydreaming a lot. ADHD is Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. This is different than what I have. You should check with a doctor - especially if you are still in school - your teachers may be able to give pointers on how you can learn better. There are tools for people with ADD & ADHD, so that you'll be able to cope with it. Plenty of people have it and lead normal lives & have good jobs. You just need to be given the tools to learn the right way.

You will need to make an appointment to see a psychiatrist specialising in ADD. It is more likely to be diagnosed in childhood, but not totally unheard of in adults. They will talk to you and run tests. They will not just pick up a pen and prescribe Ritalin. It can be misused by some people.
Sometimes the symptoms that people see (your friends) are actually a different problem.
My daughter has ADHD and is on Ritalin. It has made a huge difference in her life. Her behaviour in her life and she can concentrate at school.
We have also done a lot of reading and learned techniques or both her and us to help her cope in social situations etc.
