Have you ever been really depressed about your weight?!

Question: I'm 20 yrs old 6'1 260. At 18 I was 190 and fit. To be honest I feel like ****. I battle suicidal thoughts everyday. In one year I managed to gain 70lbs. I blame it on my medication (zyprexa) which I have since stopped taking. It's been about two weeks now and I feel fine, no voices or anything. Basically I went from being on top of the world to being a bag of ****....hahaha

yes last year i was in a bad place because of my "sloppy" body. it was from a combo of anxiety medication & not ever working out or eating right. also i had gotten run down real bad (shingles) i looked horrible. and i felt even worse. i was really hatin life. i was MISERABLE.

well ibusted my hump all year & made a point to eat right. it took a long time but i finally feel attractive again.

Yes I've been depressed about my weight many times. It's an awful feeling. However if you feel suicidal that is very serious and you need to talk to a professional right away. Please don't act on those feelings. You're not alone about the weight gain depression. Many people feel the same way. Good luck and again please call a professional right away.

no

Suicidal thoughts are not good. However if you have developed a plan and the means for carrying it out, call 911. The resondents should take you to the nearest Emergency Room. Be honest with the Emergency Response Team and the Emergency Room Staff. Your weight issues are secondary to your suicidal feelings/thinking. My personal belief is that people who were able to store large amounts of fat (similar to hibernating mammals such as ground hogs and bears) have been the salvation of the human community. It is only now, when food is in abundance and a slvelt body shape is in vogue that fat people, like us, need help to survive. Please do not resist this reality.
