Is this a normal thought?!

Question: I honestly think people shouldn't argue a lot, say such negative things, because their wasting their life, since life is so short.
And also, sleeping through the day (oversleeping) or falling asleep in the middle of the day and sleeping till the next day, I think thats wasting part of life.
Just my opinion..
Is this normal, to even think about?

I do agree that people can communicate without arguing.
Some people do not know how to do this. Arguing is all they know.
Sleeping is complicated. Having good sleep habits probably is the best way to go.
People that do not have to be anywhere each day, choose to sleep to fit their schedule.

i think it is very normal to think that i think that u shouldnt argue but about over sleeping- no comment-

you're entitled to your opinion.... whatever floats your boat...

i just happen to disagree... i argue and say negative things all the time and don't think my life is a waste...

I've never slept through the day but i know people who do and honestly i dont know why anyone would care what they do with their spare time.

and there are some studies that say the more you sleep the happier you are...

but w/e

You can of course see this as a projection. A part of you you're seeing in others.

Funny thing is, I'm only answering because I'm currently, apparently wasting time on Y!A

I agree with you it's not normal to sleep all day and be awake all night it's not the way the body is designed unless your a shift worker like me.
As for arguing I was told once you can't win an argument and it's true you can't change someone mind unless that want to.

I think that it's a normal thought, yes, because alot of people do sleep way too much. Most of the time it's an escape mechanism. They are having a difficult time dealing with what is going on around them and they need time out so they sleep and hope that whatever it is will either resolve itself or just not be there when they wake up. Most people like this are not happy with their lives and need to get into some type of therapy that can maybe direct them differently. Sleeping to escape some unwanted condition isn't healthy.

Not that weird. I agree that negativity is a waste of life. And because of my health I HATE how much I have to sleep.

Unless you ALSO believe that robots are stealing your pocket change at night, you sound pretty normal to me.

If we have purpose of life, and fully occupied with purpose, there is no question with unpleasant gap in our daily schedule. Apart from our "planned" sleep (for adults 5-6 hrs a day) I don't think I have time to fall asleep anywhere else. Yes, frankly speaking, body-soul-mind balance plays important role as well. For example...

Body : "Yan" things, Health, schedule.

Soul : "Yin" things, Emotion, MOOD, desire, 7 deadly sins (CONDITIONED by individual...Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Anger, Greed, Sloth)

Mind : Intellect, Intuition, Conscience.

A meaty subject
"I picked the sin of Gluttony because it fits into a series of ALL deadly sins I have been working on about desire, flesh, consumption, and death," says Craig LaRotonda, who lives in Brooklyn, New York, where he owns and operates a sort of "clansman" enterprise". In this series the subjects are all eating meat. They represent humankind's inevitable tethering to the physical world. That's one reason why I refrained from meat eating nowadays. Meat create foodpath to all ignorance towards all 7 deadly sins.
