Dealing with Hypothyroidism?!

Question: Hello,

Could anyone tell me how deal (naturally) with the side effects of hypothyroidism? The side effects are depression, fatigue, weakness, feeling cold, minimal kwaight gain, irregular menstrual periods, mental confusion, and difficulty concentrating.

Also, if anyone could tell me some exercises for mental concentration and dealing with anxiety, I will greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

My son has it which they say is unusual for a man. He has to take a thyroid(hormone) pill and he also takes an antidepressant. I dont think there is a "natural cure" for it by you might want to look up some of the natural remedy sites.
My son has come a long way after getting the right meds and they have also dropped the dosage some since he started. He said sometimes the thyroid will come back on its own after awhile(we are hoping).
He went a whole year without seeking treatment. He had the shakes, fatigue, and lost a lot of weight. One doctor thought he was on herion and tested him for that!(he's not on illegal drugs) Anyway, I finally talked to him going to a "free clinic" in one of our larger cities. You can type in free clinics/ your state into your browser. Or ask a referall from a local doctor or hospital.
He could not even hold a job down his symptons were so severe.
Now he has a job and doing fine and has insurance and has help that way now.

My daughter has hypothyroidism and I never knew that these things can come with it her thyroid does not work at all and she takes medication sense she was born. I will research and find out.

Why don't you want to take synthroid? It is the easiest, cheapest, best, most natural way to deal with hypothyroidism. Now if you'd like to deal with all of your symptoms one by one, by all means. But if one little pill can make you feel better, I think you're nuts not to take it.

TX Mom

Yes, I have it, I take it, and I'm loads better.

You need to take your thyroid medication or you could DIE. Your thyroid has an inpact on every part of your body. There is no "natural" way to treat it, unless you consider Armour thyroid replacement. It's natural pig thyroid.
TAKE YOUR MEDS!
