Is this normal, weird, or am I just so weird that I think I'm normal?!

Question: I talk to myself out loud a lot, and this isn't just like "Where did I put the keys?" or "Hm... What should I eat for dinner?" I usually argue with myself, or have conversations that last for sometimes an hour. The other voice sounds different, and a slight bit deeper. One time I was about to tell someone how I almost tried to commit suicide, but then the other voice said, "Shut up! I told you not to tell anyone about that!" Then I (or the other voice) slapped me.

Speaking from actual experience...

Get your family involved and seek a doctor. On the normal/weird point, nothing is worse than being weird and struggling to be normal and it being impossible.

Think about how much you struggle with the voices and the situation, and how self-conscious it makes you feel... That is a lot worse than your family.

If you don't deal with this now, you will have to one day.. and it will be harder.

Yea your weird alright.

Yes, you are weird. But that's ok, it takes all kinds.

schizophrenia

thats a split personality like the jim carrey movie me myself and irene. you need medication

You're paranoid.

Are you freakin kidding!!??? This is FREAKIN HELLA WEIRD GO SEE A SHRINK 4 REALZ!

Get some friends. Or see a therapist. You sound lonely. Get some help. You have some issues that you definitely need to clear up. I hope you get better.

lol thats not normal....but its alright...i mean.... everyone to their own

GET HELP!

schizophrenia...or you are just making it all up...either way its awesome...haha

well, its def not normal and its very weird! u need to seek help-- sounds kinda like ur possessed or something!

i hear Dr Phil is looking for new people to appear on his show , try giving him a call

Ever get the feeling people ask questions to which they
a) already know the answer
or
b) have an alterior motive to asking like maybe trying to stimulate some imagrery?

Just a question to answer a question.

Yea i think you got problems

i advice u to go to doctor dear its better since hearing voices is abnormal

im not gonna lie, it is pretty weird. But dont worry about it. Everyone is unique

In a non-offensive way you are 'weird' Actually I'd just consider you a bit different. As long as your other half doesn't start talking to you about harming yourself and others or stuff like that I suppose you shouldn't be worried....

I have arguements with myself, but it's my voice..It's just like..Hmm, I have gym today should I drop my books off at class before hand? No, I'll just take them to my locker. I don't know if she has a class...

Stuff like that...

Totally normal. You are listening to your conscious. But sometimes you have to think over your conscious. Maybe you should talk to someone about your suicidal thoughts.

I don't think it's anything to worry about, you just sound lonely and creative. See a doctor as always to check whether it's something more serious, but definitely get out more ;]

I don't like the word normal. To me normal is just a word used to describe a cycle of a dryer.

I think it's a little weird, but I wouldn't worry too much about it.

If this is ruining your life then talk to a therapist. Other than that you should just move on.

you need to talk to a mental health proffessional now!!

It should be fine as long as you are aware that the other person is another voice. if you are aware it's taking place you don't have anything wrong with you you could just be subconciously seeking attention however im no doctor if you feel that strongly about this i suggest you seek a doctor. good luck.

I do that too, but I don't hear myself in different voices. Maybe you should see someone about it.

I have heard that talking to yourself is a sign of intellegence. But it actually sounds like you might be schizophrenic. Go get some help!!

only !!! shittt !!! i know some one like that , and yes you got problems . but people that dont talk are fricking crazy too. so dont worry , look for help and dont hurt your self. take care
