I think you will get better. I take it that your doctor has precribed you with some drugs to help. These normally work by stopping nerotransmitters that make you feel this way. Exercise can also be good because it releases a feel good hormone.

I used to be very depressed but now i am very happy, independent and starting a family.

I hope you get better, and really, you are not a coward- i could never do it to myself and am so thankful for it. There is so much hope for you, try and confide in people and get out- dont hide yourself away.

Good Luck

well if ur posting that stuff on this ur looking for help so u must be doing something right, also the cutting part get over it cuz that stuff gets old and the only thing i can say about it is if u really wanna do it then, down the street not across... jp but whatever man life sucks so just smile

Learn to feel good about yourself again. Write down all of the good things about you in the past, present and future.

Talk to a therapist or someone you trust about this. Just take things one step at a time. Don't worry, you will get through this

Join the Marines you'll feel better about yourself. You've lost your sense of purpose. Do something to better yourself

dude, you need help man,try some counselor or doctor or social workers for help man and good luck and stay healthy.

You must do meditation. Sit cross-legged on a carpet and shut your eyes. The inhale and exhale deeply through your nostrils only, and focus and concentrate on nothing but your respiration. No other thoughts, or actions. The body must stay perfectly still, no movements.

Do this for at least 20 minutes, morning and evening. You will improve within 2 months.

start meditation-

sit in a quiet place...close ur eyes.....join ur hands and keep them on ur lap....deep breathing....concentrate on your breathing...don't bother abt ur thoughts...u will get distracted in the beginning...if u wish to...take the name of the God u beleive in....

do this first for 5 min. daily....then increase the time........

remember.......never suicide......ur family and friends and many more love u dearly.....they will miss u tremendously.....they care for u......and u love them too....its a precious life...do things u like ...and smile alot :)

best of luck :)

Since you said that you have been "diagnosed with severe depression", are you taking any medication? If so, it is possible that the medication is wrong or the dosage is incorrect and that might be causing these suicidal feelings.
If you are taking medications, contact your prescribing doctor and inform him of your symptoms as soon as possible.
If you are not taking medications, contact a doctor as soon as possible and explain your symptoms.
Suicidal thoughts are serious and require professional help. Please give treatment another chance to help you get better.

No, it will not get better unless you recieve help. We THINK we will get out of this 'funk' all on our own...but it won't happen.

Talk to someone. Get a therapist/counselor. It might sound corny, but believe me, you will surprise yourself on how much garbage you have built up inside of you- and to tell someone on the 'outside', is surprisingly refreshing and theraputic. Don't feel embarrassed by it. Do what you need to do to feel better again.

You need to be on antidepressants. If you are already taking them and they aren't working, tell your doctor.
You should also be in therapy.
The more you think about being depressed, the more depressed you become. Go get help.

You'll have to make it past this stage! Get a hang on yourself, seek professional help. Get support.

Once you make it past this well of depression, you can look back on it and congratulate yourself for making it! Then, count your blessings, and thank the people who have helped you wade past your downs.

Are you taking your medications as you should? Although its a fact that the medications will trigger suiicidal thoughts more to the fore..............well I think you should see a specialist who can moniter you. this is serious.........I am also suicidal, but I have finally made the bold move to see a specialist. I have a family to think of. Music helps soothes the soul, also writing your every emotion helps also.
Try hard to find the good in you.
All the best.

You should see a professional you will get better but with the correct help and your doctor will help you find some one.Best wishes
