Are you truly happy?!

Question: I have been so down lately and cannot snap out of it. It is not depression, but stress and anxiety of all that has happened to me over the past couple of months. How do you get back to being yourself? I feel like I have lost me :(

My suggestion this is what I do. You have to transplant yourself from the environment you're in to a new one. Meaning you have to get away somehow, take a vacation, go on a retreat somewhere. Has to be at least a couple days. I think part of the problem with depression and anxiety is it feeds on itself. You need to get in a new situation. This is my theory on travel...it's kicks in your survival instincts you start focusing less on yourself and more about what needs to be done. When you get back from your trip you'll have a different perspective on things.

Do things you love, maybe find other people who love those things too.
The grass is ALWAYS greener, even if it doesn't look likeit...

Can you talk to someone about it? If you can do it. There is a kind of depression called S.A.D (Seasonal affective disorder). That to is possible. If you have no one to talk to email a friend that you trust, cuz once you start to talk, you'll start to feel better and happier

Sometimes finding a goal, even if it is a small one, like taking a daily walk at sunset or something else that relaxes you and sticking to it as much as you can, not only makes you feel better but makes you feel like you have accomplished something at the end of the day because you made your goal. I know it sounds simple, but it works for me.

just go hang out with your friends and talk to them about what happening

I am going to send you an e-mail about myself.
But in the mean time, just do things that make you happy!
I have been through a life threatening kidney condition my entire life.
Now I have overcome all this.
Like I said do things that make you happy. Spend time, with friends, family, go to the movies. Just get out and enjoy yourself.
Also if you are seriously "anxious" etc. Please go to a therapist to help you.

I'm only truly happy in the summer

Why?

*My Birthday

*No school, meaning no pressure to get good grade sand hours of homework. And no bitchy people.

*camp!@#$%^&

*Going on vacations

*nice warm weather
