Next time I hope that you think a little more carefully before signing a 2 year contract.

Talk to your boss and find out what sort of penalty you would have to pay for contract breach. That's the only real option you have... Apart from just hanging in.

I make everyone else crazy!

Try to find something or someone at work that you like. make it a habbit of going to that place or person everytime itgets stressful and soon enough it will become a habbit and you'll stay sane.

I do sudoku puzzles and crossword puzzles, but I'm in a call center so I don't have the customers looking directly at me ignoring them. :o)

I also try to get involved in projects at work to bring some variety. Make suggestions on how to improve a procedure. But I also focus on why I'm there, benefits and $$$.

I also decorate my cubicle with motivational things and things that make me happy.

Go outside for fresh air and clear your head whenever you get a chance.

Even though you can't picture yourself there anymore, might as well make the best of it. Work on a plan to leave after 2 years, but making sure that when you do only nice and great things will be said about you so when you get your next real job you like you won't be disappointed by bad reviews said about you.

If you're hating being there at work it could rub off and others might know you hate it. That won't be good for your work environment. People can make it worse for you knowing you are obligated to stay 2 years. Don't tell your co-workers how much you hate it at work.

Talk to your boss or supervisor and see what they can do. Maybe you can transfer or be reassigned.

I can relate and I feel badly for you. I hate my job, I hate the
people I work with and in the 7 years I have worked there
nothing has changed. Things just keep on getting worse.
I have had to take medication for stress it's been so bad.

I could leave and work someplace else, but I know from
experience that all places have their good and bad points.
I only stay where I am, because of all the years I have invested in this industry, a total of 23 years. I live close to
work also. The stress we deal with at work can be extreme
at times. I go to work, and do my job. I do it very well.
There is no room for anyone to complain about anything.
I don't discuss work when I am not there and I think more
and more about leaving but I have not come accross anything
else that intestests me yet. When I do, I will leave.
I think you need to give yourself a break from the job you do.
Take a vacation and if worse comes to worse and you need
more time, fake an injury. I'm not into being dishonest, but
I know how important a break from your job can be.
If you really want to leave, try and get out of the contract.
