Does it hurt to drink a few beers with xanax?!
Question: Well I take Valium and many other meds. I take them in the morning. I think it would depend on how early you took your medicine before you started drinking. I would not take one with a beer if you know what I mean. I drink every now and then but it has been several hours after my last pill.

Although I'm not a doctor, hopefully I can provide some useful advice here.
Xanax and alcohol in general are both depressants, meaning they 'depress' your central nervous system, making you groggier, sleepy, slowing your heart rate and reaction time, etc. Mixing alcohol with any kind of drug is risky because there is no telling how you might react. However, what will usually happen is that one thing will exaggerate the effects of the other: in other words, "a few" beers might feel like a lot more than that. Also, you DO put yourself at risk of death because you're just slowing your nervous system down more and more until it possibly gets to a point where it stops altogether.
So. Consult a pharmacist or doctor.
I had a friend take two xanax and drink a shot(or two) of vodka(before she told us she had taken her pills..we stopped her when we heard that)..It hit her about twenty minutes later, she was slurring her words,falling over,etc...she tried to sleep with my fiancee...I mean, like, straight up was begging him to...well, you know...we took her to a friends house to go swimming, trying to exersize her sober-i guess(we couldn't leave her at her mom's where her daughter could see her like that, and she threatened to drive herself)...and my fiance and I left her with other friends(the girl who's house we were at was her ride). Well, that girl fell asleep, and my friend got a ride from a guy at the..gathering...and woke up naked in bed with two guys she didn't know...with no idea of how she got there, or what happened...be VERY careful with that drug...I can't see ANYTHING good come of you drinking while on it...please just be careful!!
