Weird after effects from pot?!

Question: After smoking marijuana, i have a strange mental illness lasting a week or 10 days after smoking. I have only done marijuana a couple times, but out of the 3 of 4 time i've done it, a mental sickness follwed for the next week or so. It doesn't feel like i am high but still very strange. Sometimes i cant feel things until a couple seconds after i touch them, i can't think clearly, i can't think ahead or sometimes can't concentrate on more than one thing at a time. it's very wierd and actually pretty scarey. once i almost though about killing myself just to end the mental "coma" i was going through. has this ever happened to anyone else? by the way, when i did smoke it was later at night and went to bed while still high. also, each time it was different weed. the weed wasn't ever laced because when i did smoke, it was with friends, and this doesnt happen to them. never ever gonna smoke agian! the stuff that happenes to me after is def. not worth it! I dunno, does anyone know anything

This sounds like a sodium imbalance. You sound depressed and slow to respond to a stimulus. If the sensation to a stimulus is muted or dulled somewhat it sound like you are preoccupied and overly reactionary. Do you notice how much you dwell on external sensation? It's like you are not incorporating it into yourself. You are numb and going through the motions.
Not being able to think clearly, a lack initiative for planning ahead and difficulty concentrating are all very typical aspects of still being high. Fear reflects the need to be in control and to know what's going on. Acute anxiety is a signal your body is giving you that it needs something to get back to normal. You feel trapped and isolated, like something out of a bad dream. You are bouncing off the walls. Now you are having a very difficult time finding your mojo again.
Having panic attacks and loud outbursts are just reactions and reflect the emotional funk this has put you into. Try drinking some orange juice or a sports drink and let's see if this doesn't put a spring in your step again. It would help replenish the sodium you lost from smoking. If you get really thirsty and you drink a lot, this was really the problem all along. You just didn't do something to get yourself back to normal.
Lots of people do things they are not really into just to be social. I hope no one pressured you into doing this. Now you know how it makes you feel. You can't function. I don't think it's right for you. Most people become hyper, either in a sexual way or they apply it to their sense of confidence and use it to enhance performance. Some people giggle and laugh at everything. Some people just wanted to be liked and they'll do anything. This depresses you and you really can't tolerate that. It is a depressant and you're going to have that. If it's not right for you, don't do it. It's not worth it.

no but its better messed up..you never know if it was laced or not just because it didnt happen to you friends doesnt mean it wasnt laced...the side affects would be different for everyone because no one is the same...just dont smoke it anymore if it really makes you that messed up

Psychoactive substances like marijuana can affect each individual differently. We all have slightly different brain chemistries, so when we take drugs that affect a part of our brain, the same dose will interact a little differently with each person.

I don't know why you feel this way after smoking marijuana, but if it has happened multiple times and is uncomfortable, then the best thing for you to do is abstain from marijuana. Also, knowing how your brain reacts to THC, you should exercise special caution if you ever decide to consume any other recreational or medicinal psychoactive drug.

one thing i can say stop smoking marijuana

Stay away from drugs altogether. This is just the beginning of the problems you will experience. It will get worse.

It is observant of you to notice. Lots of people don't.

It impairs concnetration with everybody. e.g. it will impair the ability to play chess quite significantly.

Long term users may suffer panic attacks when they stop. I think this depends on the people environment though.

In some people like myself, pot causes an extremely
unpleasant psychosis. I learned my lesson in
my late 20's, so I don't mess with Marijuana.

There are those who can smoke it and handle the
effects well. It's not for everybody, even if it came
from the earth and is all natural or whatever.

If it's causing you concern, maybe you shouldn't
bother with it either and keep the parts of your
mind you still have.

Stop doing it. Did you know you could die on your first time doing it because your body can't handle it. I know you could get arrested but you need to see a doctor, SOON! You could also get addicted.
