if your not bleeding then they are probs not permenant.if people notice tell them a cat did it.i have 4 cats and i look like a self harmer.i have to say u need to look at why u do this.does it take sum kind of pain away.look after yourself cos people luv ya.x

1. They are permanent at least for a few years, but they become less noticeable.

2. The best thing you can do is HAVE other people notice them. This forces you to confront your problem, and ask for help. They should help you seek medical assistance.

We can't tell you if they're permanent, hon... I don't know how deep they are or what they look like. If they are just scratches, I'm sure they aren't but to be SURE nobody will notice, try doing something else if you have depression. Like exercise or boxing... You need to deal with some anger issues.. Wish I could help more...

if they're tiny and not enough to bleed, they probly wont be permanent. and if other ppl notice them, dont freak out, just be yourself and be honest.

Mine never where permanent, even though I always cut with a razor blade far enough to make a bit of blood drip from each cut. It seems that for some reason, the skin on my arms heals extraordinarily fast. I cut a lot a while ago and the scars disappeared within a couple of weeks.
