Question: I have no confidence and i hate it ! When a teacher asks me a question i will just go red in the face , even if its not a bad thing. Is there anything i could do to stop me going red and help me be more confident.I will sometimes shake i get so nevious :(:(:(

A friend of mine was a blusher. She used to go bright red over the smallest thing. 10 years later it doesn't happen anymore.

I myself was always a quiet shy person. Even when i started working I was always scared or felt as though I was no good and that people would think I was stupid. I still wouldn't be overly confident about certain things but i'm so much better. Life and its experiences have made me a stronger person. I had counselling in my child and adult years to help me. I think that really worked. There are lots of self help sites and books you can get too. Just try to believe in yourself and that your as good & able as the next person if not better. The blushing will calm eventually but you know what - its natural. It happens me too. The more you worry about it the more it will happen. Love your life, take everything step by step and you'll reach your goal.

Lavender scented candles, lavender sprays, bubble baths help you relax. Also,, try some "Deep Breathing Exercises". You'll find out all about this on websites too. Lots of things and people there to help you. Good luck x

you need a whack from me

just take baby steps, study hard and every once in a wile just raise youre hand and anwser the question or when asked. doing that will slowly raise youre confidence you will see.

I know EXACTLY how you feel.
im like that to.
sometimes i go red and no idea why, or i dont even realise sometimes.
Its slowly geting better tho.
I've found the best way to deal with it is to put yourself i situations that scare you and make this happen, cause the more you do it, the more confident you become on 'scary' situations and situations that may make you feel nervous or scared.
thats what i did and its slowly getting better, just keep at it and hold your head high.
Hope That helps.

Talk to your teacher, parents & guidance counselor to see if you can be put into a room that is 1-on-1 teaching or just try home schooling. If not try talking to your friends and ask them to give you a little thumbs up when you're in the class with them & you look back at them.
