Self-harming?!

Question: ok first off, i know it was stupid
and i didnt do it enough to bleed
and i have little scars on my arms from last night
and i've been doing it for about a month
but every now and then my arm goes kind of numb
does that have anything to do with this?

There was a time a few years ago that I would cut. The last time was deep and I have lost all feeling in my pointer finger and part of my palm. I would say the numbness is from something else. Maybe you are sleeping on your arm wrong. Shallow cuts or scratches that don't bleed are not deep enough to do damage to the nerves. That being said when you get the urges to self harm you need to talk yourself out of it. Remind yourself those thoughts are not normal and that you need to protect and preserve yourself.

probably, thats what i used to do, i always used to self harm with anything i could get and i tried to make myself bleed but i just couldnt, so what i did was make some scratches and then about a day or two later i got scars and whenever idid it again my wrist went really numb.

Ehrm, if you have "little" scars then obviously you peirced the skin enough so to make it bleed. You could have possible hit a nerve of some sort and caused permanent damage.

I reccomend you stop if you enjoy using your arms.

But if you are looking to kill your self slowly simply stab your self in the femoral artery on the inside of your thigh. I dont reccomend death though. From what I've heard of it, its sometimes painful and depending on religion you may not like the outcome.
