it seems this depressive phase you have been going through has affected your daily life... when this happens, we really need to consult a doctor.

one thing which might help, is to get exercise. brisk walking 20 minutes a day, is great for starters. exercises forces our brains to releas nature's happy hormones, endorphins. endorphins cause us to feel better, and give us a natural "high".. try it to see what i mean.

take care too.

Ask for help from the people you're comfortable with, like close friends and family. You can do it without meds but it will help if you try to be as healthy as possible and have support from people who care for you.

Start drinking more water, start keeping a journal, spend time with people you want to be around, maybe save up for a nice vacation...

You said you are in school... maybe you can talk to your school counselor for starters. He or she can point you in the right direction; you need some guidance. It sounds like you don't have anything to "look forward to"; you may need some incentive and motivation. The counselor should be able to help you find something that will hold your interest, etc.
Good luck. Don't give up.

Try to set up a routine, keep busy, involved in things. Exercise is the best cure. Thee are things like 5-HTP you can get without prescription. natual without side effects.
Avoid television except comedy. Go to bed early.
