I Feel like time's slipping away?!

Question: I feel like I have so much to do everyday ( so much studying I mean) and somehow my day ends without me doing my work. My days are kinda wasted with doing nothing. I can't stick to study schedules. And I always end up cramming the night before the exam. I need some help .

I wanna motivate myself to study. I wanna stop procristinating!

Same here.

I get home from school thinking oh I'll go on the PC and for an hour or so then do my h/w.

But I end up staying on for hours and leave everything till the last minute.

I suppose that's all to do with being a teenager and having to learn to manage work.

You just feel that you wanna do so much fun stuff, which you never have time to do and you end up leaving all you rwork.

Well like an answere said working as soon as you get home is a good one, I always used to do that and it works.

It's like fighting an addiction, you've just got to force yourself to do it! And if you do take small brakes or have some music playing in the background to stop yourself getting bored.

Well, normally this has nothing to do with a mental disorder. This is time management. And you have to learn how to prioritize and manage your time effectively. You do this by writing down what needs to be done every day. Then you pick the most important thing and put it at the top of your list. Then the next most important. And so on. But you also have to take into consideration, something might be more important, but it needs to be done right now. That would be put before the important thing on your list. See what I mean? I hope so because this is a desired quality in the workplace.

Study in short, 10 minute bursts and then do something you enjoy for 10 minutes. Get together and study with a friend. Try to study during down time in school (lunch/ study hall/ homeroom) Also, start right when you get home from school. Your mind will still be in "academic mode".

u are just so tried your mind all over take a hour out their go back to it

I have the exact same problem and so can sympathize with you in every way.
I'd recommend Amy's post.
Do 10 or 20 minutes and then stop and do something else for another 10 or 20 minutes. And of course it's always good to involve friends to study or another member of your family studying in the same room.
Soon your mind will get into this routine and trick it into believing that study isn't all that bad.
