What Mental Illness could this be?!

Question: I've been searching all night trying to find an answer as to what's been going on in my head.
I'm not trying to self-diagnose.
I just want an idea before I try going to a new Doctor.
I'm just looking for people who know a lot about Psych. and can help me get a general idea of what they think it is.

Here are my symptoms (I'll keep it short)
-Hallucinations
-Angry outbursts/physically attacking people, especially from lack of sleep
-Increased appetite
-Insomnia
-Feeling that everyone is picking on me and laughing at me
-I have tried to jump out of a car going 70mph and OD on pills within the last week.

A lot of this has just been brough to my attention b/c I barely have any idea I'm doing it.

I know a bit & have experience with Psych. First you have to get physical health conditions/substance abuse side effects ruled out, as sometimes these can cause psych symptoms (e.g. brain tumour in rare cases).
But otherwise, you may be experiencing a first episode of psychosis. This is normally treated with anti psychotic medication and most people recover, particularly if they get treated early. The minority of people get further episodes of psychosis and are eventually diagnosed with schizophrenia or some other disorder such as psychotic illness or thought disorder etc. Most people with schizophrenia can have their symptoms controlled with medication and live productive lives. So it is really good that you are getting help right now, as this may be treatable or manageable.
Bipolar is another disorder where people can get psychotic like symptoms, insomnia etc. The symptoms can be controlled with the right medication.
A psychiatrist is the best person to see as they have a lot of training in prescribing psychological medication and making a diagnosis. You might also want to get counselling and talk to someone about what you are going through.
Good luck.

probably schizophrenia.

Explain your hallucinations PLz.

All you mentioned are signed of mental illness so i suggect go to your doctor tell everything you felt. Don't delayed of seeing your doctor because very imporant your state of mind i pray to the Lord that everything will turn good on you.All the best.

Schizophrenia or Bi Polar.
You need to see a Psychiatrist fassssst.
Before you harm or kill yourself or someone else.

It sounds like schizophrenia. Here is the DSM criteria for it. The DSM is was psychologists use to diagnose patients.

are you finding that things you usualy enjoy dont do that anymore?

these may be signs of depression, although im not too sure about the Hallucinations sorry

This just a guess not a diagnosis: bipolar disorder, sleep deprivation, aggressive behavior disorder, compulsive disorder, and schizophrenia, manic depression, could be any one or more. It maybe a simple vitamin and mineral deficiency or enzyme deficiency, or even a physiological disorder. It could even be a tumor or encephalitis, or disease of some unusual kind.
Blood test and CT, MRI scans and much work needs to be done to find the cause of these problems. plan on taking some medication to treat the symptoms till they find out. You might want to pack your bags for a stay in the hospital, what ever you DO NOT miss the doctors appointment you may want to have your parents or a family member go with you for support, and so they can tell others in your family where you are, it may be a while before they can visit, Don't be scared we Will be praying for your quick recovery.

You most probably have bipolar mood disorder... you seem to be manic with your lack of sleep, increased appetite and poor impulse control. You also have psychotic symptoms... the hallucinations and paranoid delusions. The good thing is that, you have a good insight about what's happening to you. However, you'll still need to take medications to control your moods and especially the psychotic symptoms so you won't be a danger to others and yourself. See your doctor ASAP.

All the things everyone else suggested would still be symptoms. No real root problems have been suggested. Every one of them can be caused by bitterness, unforgiveness, or even lack of self respect.
Look at the spiritual reasons, 99.9% of the time, it's from them.
