i am, epilepsy is a horribly misunderstood disability. very traumatic for the owner of such a thing too ;/
nobody wil ever fully appreciate it unless they experience something simular but it is important to know what to do whn somebody has a fit infromt of you. make sure they dont swallow thier tongue and put then into the recovery position. repeat thier name and hold thier hand, rubbing gently to bring them back to you. its scary and often very misunderstood ;/
im not angry necessarily about the ignorance of it, more that not many people dont even know what it is!!!

yes my mum and brother have epilepsy and people used to laugh at them. i hate that! Some people actually think you can catch it!!
Sorry? I'm not sure I understand your question. Am I angry about people not understanding about epilepsy? Probably less than I am angry about them not understanding about diabetes or depression or malnutrition or child abuse or childhood vaccination or AIDS or the importance of taking care of the planet....
Lots of people misunderstand lots of things. It's a human element. They find it hard to put their feet in someone else's shoes. People quite often react in a way which is disguising their fear and ignorance. Maybe you could explain what is happening during a siezure to them so that it helps them to understand.
