Why is it that after I cry, I get very angry and skeptical?!

Question: It could be that there is some anxiety there, and after you cry you feel some release and a let-down. That's not bad, but it may make you feel bad. Do you think you are a bad person for crying? You know, in some way, it may be that you feel some guilt, like you did something wrong and you want to know what it is. It is the not knowing that could be making you angry and skeptical. I do not assume that you actually feel guilt or have any reason to feel guilt in any way. You just don't feel happy, you dont feel good, so there are not many other emotions to feel when you are down and out.
I feel terrible after I cry and I often become cynical too. But at the same time, I want to believe there was some valid reason for crying. I want purpose. I want meaning. I don't want to cry just to cry. I want to feel that afterward I have done something to help myself and that I will be better off for having done it.
There could actually be a feeling that you got something out of your system. Like you were all bent out of shape with it, but now that you got that out of your system, you are better off for it. There is nothing wrong with that.
Have you ever read any info on pop psychology? Your emotions are always valid and they always mean something. You must have some yearning to find out what that is. Why not find out? You need to learn a few terms to be able to apply them to yourself. Knowing yourself is very important. You can find info on the internet or in the pop psychology section at your local library. A lack of knowledge is what makes us angry and cynical. Having knowledge is having power over issues that would otherwise yank your chain and keep you frightened, running from every little shadow. You don't have to do that. Ever.
Words have the power to put any issue in its place. You can calm right down once you understand just what that is. Even if you were doing the same thing over and over again, once you understand that, you have the power to stop it. It can't upset you any more. Your peace of mind can be reassured and you can move on to more important things. You will want rest at some time, and you will want to be left alone to set this burden aside. Sometimes there are more important things than crying.

I guess that depends on what you are upset about! Crying is a good release of stress so go ahead and cry!
