I need someone's opinion on my disorder.?!

Question: I have trouble sleeping, I am prone to anxiety attacks, I have a roller coaster like appitite, I get very depressed, I get over excited, I have thoughts and of killing myself that play out like a movie in my head unwillingly. my anti depressants only control the extremes of my emotions. I suffer from anti social behavior a frequent basis. I always have an anxious feeling and I have to continuously wash my face and hands and if I don't double check to make sure the stove is off or my straightener or the door is locked I have this uncomfortable feeling I am forgetting something. Can someone help me?

these are symptoms of a disorder ,as to what disorder I can't say but I should ask because some people will view things as normal and never realize that they are also symptoms. Have you ever had a hard time keeping track of time or what day it is? have people ever told you things that you have no recollection of and you weren't under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time? Do you ever pass a mirror and have to do a double take cuz you weren't sure it was you?

you need psychiatric help dear

I'm not one to diagnose, but it sounds like you have obsessive compulsive disorder along with the others. Your psychiatrist or whom ever put you on your meds needs to re-evaluate them. maybe you need something stronger. Good luck and hang in there.

Well I could give you a diagnosis but that would not really help you. You need professional help. If you present psychiatrist cannot help you I suggest you get a second opinion. Or if you have only been to a normal doctor seek psychiatric help.

sad to say, you better go to the phsychiatrist because you have a mental disorder.... i guess you have a obsessive compulsive disorder.

The good thing is that you recognize these behaviors in yourself. You are not in denial, and seem to be aware that things are not right.
You need a psychiatric evaluation . This is the only way to know for sure and get the help you need for these disorders.

You mentioned medication. Are those prescribed by a doctor of psychiatrist. You really need to be seeing a psychiatrist for this as well as to monitor your medications. Its possible that you have several different conditions going on here, some possibilities are bipolar disorder, clinical anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder. I wouldn't worry much about the diagnosis' if I were you - its not your job, Just get to the appropriate person who can diagnose and treat you. Its possible they can improve your life a lot.

Wow...seems like you have OCD, maybe insomnia, bipolar, and probably a few other disorders. You should definitely seek professional help and probably need either stronger antidepressants or more than just those antis.
good luck sweetie.

go to your doctor and talk to him. what is the worst that could happen? you get a prescription for some meds and it balances you out?

ocd, social anxiety disorder, bi polar, thats about it, their are professionals out there find them.

not even joking you and i sound very alike. that doesn't help but just so you know, you're not alone.
