See a doctor and explain your symptoms. They should run blood tests. My girlfriend was the same and the doctor found out she has coeliacs disease (she is allergic to gluten). So it could just be a diet thing. Or it could be something as simple as it being winter, not getting much sunlight etc. Lot's of people feel tired/run down in winter. Try to get as much sun as possible and see if you feel better. Exercise a little.

I sympathise with you, it seems the way our society works, everybody feels tired/stressed.

Diet...
Exercise...
Diabetes???

You could be anaemic.

Could be your thyroid or stress. See a doctor.

Do you get enough vitamins? Eat healthily? Exercise?

There are plenty of reasons for tiredness, you just have to figure it out. See a doctor if it doesn't improve.

Good luck! I know the feeling and it's awful. :(

iron suppliment help in women well

You could be anemic, have mono, have low thyroid function...lots of stuff. Go see the dr.

TX Mom

Me too, someone at work today suggested I get some iron tablets. I think I might just give it a go.

Well first of all, are you tired generally. Do you need a couple of weeks to completely chill out.

If not, check your diet and make sure its not too much sugar, meat and white bread.

If not the above, see your doctor.

Pregnant?
Depressed?
Have your Dr ck you out. You might be anemic.

You should visit your doctor. there might be a medical reason why you're always tired. it might be low iron, hypothyroidism, chronic fatigue. He/she can get some tests for you to figure it out especially if it's affecting your life.

Lassitude.

You don't get enough excersise, even if you work the whole day, you still need at least 30 minutes of brisk walking daily.
You also need to get more fruit, veg, potatoes and protein in your diet. Ditch the junk food and fizzy drinks, especially diet drinks which contains Aspartame which is harmful to your body and causes stress to your body.

If the above doesn't apply to you, then you may have Iron deficiency which can cause you Anemia, or you can have a Vitamin B deficiency which can also cause Anemia and this will make you very tired even if you sleep 9 hours a night, just a couple hours later you want to go back to bed, I had it.

Some people have got some problem with their stomach stopping them from absorbing vitamin B even though they got a good diet.
See a doctor.

I have been feeling like that for a few months now - not sure if it to do with the winter months or if there is something medical going on - a check up with the doctor should rule anything serious out

Tired all the time can be a bad reason to visit your doctor. It is the most common complaint they get, and it is normally the patient's fault (bad time management and lifestyle and late nights)

I saw my doctor several times with this complaint, before he ordered a liver function test, and discovered some enzyme deficiencies. Then he sent me to give the blood test every 2 weeks :(

It was pointless. Though he got to the bottom of the problem, little could be done about it really.

that can be a symptom of depression.

or you might have a thyroid imblance.

i'd suggest getting a lot of fresh air, making sure you eat right and excersize a lot. do some things to make you feel happy and get excited about!

consult your doctor.

Have You Tried Socialising and going out?

Are you a wheel.

Two bowls of prunes gives you get up and go

You may want to evaluate your diet and what whole foods (vegetables, grains, fruits, etc) that you are eating. I've found that if I eat frozen food for dinner, I have a lot less energy the next day. It may be worthwhile to start taking multi-vitamins, as well, to ensure your body is getting all the nutrients you need. Lots of water to keep you hydrated helps, too.

Have you heard of sleep apnea? This is when you stop breathing in your sleep for a while and then bring yourself out of a deep slep to breathe again. You can get tested at sleep centers to see if this is indeed the case. I know several people who have this and feeling tired after a good night's sleep is part of this. There are breathing machines that can help one to breathe at night.

Good luck!

Get checked out by a doctor. Then if the doctor finds no reason for you to be tired get out and get moving. Exercise. It is hard to believe, but exercising regularly give you more energy than resting a lot. Walk 30-60 minutes a day.

You should go see a doctor...maybe it's your vision...need glasses or contacts....it might be your diet....

You could be depressed as that can cause tiredness but there are a lot of other things too. Sleep apnea causes fatigue, do you wake up with a headache? Also anemia causes fatigue and there are lots of causes for that, the main one being an iron deficiency, try taking a multivitamin that has iron in it. You could also have something like mono that makes you very tired. You should talk to your doctor so he can run tests and such and help you figure it out.

I've been taking B12. it seems to help.

You do not say how old you are, and so that could be a huge factor. I am getting on, and so can empathise with the constant tiredness. However, if you are young, so many factors could contribute - but I would say that if you know you are eating well, keeping good hours, not burning the midnight oil too often, then pop in to talk it through with a doctor. You may need a change to diet, or something else that can be explained medically. It could be that you are feeling down, and that kind of depression takes its toll. For me, it's sunshine - the lack of it makes me morose and tired. As soon as the sun comes out I feel so much more lively. Check it out with someone, just in case. Take care, and hope you feel better soon.

I have the same thing also.

It sound like you are still growing - this tends to affect how tired you are, and will pass in time. It would be wise to investigate this, though - conditions such as anemia can easliy be remedied, and you don't want to let it affect your studies, or social life..

Hypothyroidism is VERY likely, and very easy to get checked out. Cynthroid can get it right back up and you will feel much better.

You could try a bodyclock. These work by replicanting the rising of the sun in the morning.

You may also be sleeping for to long. 7 hours should be enough.

Here are some big reasonsons for being tired; diabetes, sleep apnea, depression, pregnancy, bad nutrition, even lack of exercise.

Well I'll tell one thing - I used to feel exactly the same way and I didn't know why, and than we moved to a place that has no carpets, wooden floors only, and I immediately noticed that I can sleep less, but feel like had enough (well, almost enough, it's really never quite enough) sleep.

Also, you may have a gas heater which blows air into the room, and a lot of dust, and all sorts of nasty crap comes in with that dust, which makes you not breathe well.

1) Get rid of carpet in your bedroom, and make sure to wipe the dust at least twice a week
2) Have a special service clean out those holes in the walls that blow warm.
3) possibly get an airfilter and install it in your bedroom

And I think that'll do

get more sleep! durrr!
maybe your just lazy
