Confronting a passive aggressive person who tries to make you feel bad?!
Question: My roommate has been treating me like dirt, walking all over me and trying to distance my friends from me and becoming close with them just himself. When we're all together, he has these subtle ways of putting me down constantly. However, other times he's not so bad.
My plan is to wait and see if he does this again. If he does, I think I'll wait to we're alone and ask him in a polite manner if he has a problem with me and if so what it is. My question is this: does this sound like a good course of action? And do you have any advice for this discussion (I need it!)? Thanks

What you 're going to do is exactly what I'd do as well. 80% of the world is passive aggressive..the only way to get to these kinds of people is confrontation.
Good luck it sounds like you'll do fine, but I wonder if your roommate will.
I've confronted people like this and usually they keep doing the same thing even after you've spoke to them..if it get's real bad ask that your room mate leaves or you move.
