Yes, however it does not mean that you would definately have it, just that your chances could be higher. Just something to be aware of, but certainly not stress over. Bipolar is much more common than many people think and there are all levels from very mild to severe. But please don't think just because your dad has it that you will. That most certainly is not the case.
If you think you have it then you have it and if you don't think you have it then you don't have it.
Yes it can, but that does not mean you have it. But it does mean that your chances are higher. If you believe that you do have it, then get an appointment with your doctor and have them evaluate it. Also talk to your parents about your concerns, they may be able to help you.
