My father is beginning to be a problem?!


Question: my father is beginning to be a problem he is disabled been exactly 4 years now and he really hasnt had any will power to walk i know people with worse injuries that have walked within months the other thing is i work all the time come home everyday to him blasting the stereo and i mean this is an everyday thing i ask him nicely to turn it down and he gets nasty and says nasty things like leave if you dont like it i help pay the bills i am thinking about moving out for my own peace of mind doesnt sopund like he wants to help himself anyways my mother works also andtakes care of him.what should i do i just cannot take this anymore? thanks

If you are old enough and can afford to live on your own, by all means move out... If not, I suggest getting ear plugs and going to your room and shutting the door. Not much else you can do, living there with your parents.. Good Luck!

The 1st thing is to start making him want to walk, maybe turning off the stereo from him and if he has a remote unplug it. That way he is forced to move to turn it back on. Explain that he needs to start moving for you all are not going to be there forever his every needs for your moving out (scare him with that). When he calls for something don't always do it...hope that helps

You see your mother as running the family ... talk to her... she may want you to stay. Is the house small and you don't have your space. Hang drapes on the walls to control sounds . You might get a hearing aid too. My guess is that you are unable to complete maturing and be the best you can be unless you are still in school.
