I agree with Dave on the exercise, it will help a lot. Just going for a walk every other day will give you a boost, and I do mean a BRISK walk! And when you are feeling emotional and stressed, allow yourself to cry real tears. Emotional tears carry endorphins in them, and allow your system to release other chemicals as well. It can be very cathartic. I am a stresser too, and I stay home with my kids right now. So any situation carries its own stress, you just have to find ways to release the stress, and hopefully meds are are your last choice. As they can be very addictive, and interfere with your life. Just sayin' don't let meds make your situation worse! Be careful!! Oh, and I have found that a good foot massage and pedicure work wonders on a sense of well being! Good luck finding your solution!

Yeah your GP should and can give you something to help you relax in the evenings. You also need to exercise about 3 times a week at first it will be a little hard but you will feel a lot better. You will also find it will help reduce your stress. Good luck. =)
