Help!!! School Problems!!!?!
Question: My school "friends" are really mean. I am thinking about moving schools. I have depression from the mental abuse my dad gives to me. The school thing isn't helping, and is a main facter of my depression. Any advice to help depression and about the school thing?

First of all, I don't think they are your friends if they are really mean to you. If you can try moving schools. I am sorry to hear you suffer from depression. Are you currently under some kind of treatment? Have you seen a Doctor? You should as soon, that is if you have not. Does your school offer some sort of counseling program? If they do, make sure they know of your situation. If you end up moving to another school, make sure they are aware of your problem. I hope this can help you. Try to join a club or activity to meet new people. Make new friends. If it gets really bad you could consider switching schools but keep in mind that you will know no one (whether that's good or bad). Are your parents divorced? You could try living with just your mom. About the depression, you should go to the doctor to get meds or counseling. Good luck!
Expand your horizons, start doing other extra-curricular activities get into a club. GOing into different activities exposes you to groups of different kids. One thing I would say but am not a firm believer in is depression pills, but seek medical advice first.
Change friends, join groups that can help you, see counsellors, get involved in sports and relaxation, see doctors. don't give up and do the best you can.
