when I was younger, I had epilepsy, and I remember having to take this medicine I think. but that was ages ago when I was very little so sorry I can't really help you there.

tell your g/f, she is the one badmouthing you online...Why is she threatening to leave you? It is not your fault and don't blame yourself, all you can do is apologise, which you already have! What does she want from you? Tell her to grow up

EDIT: I love the way you assume I have no experience with epilepsy on your email. How dare you!! You know nothing of me...

Unfortunately, you can't just turn off your seizures. You should definitely consult with your doctor or neurologist and let them know your seizures aren't as under control as you'd like. You might need a medication change.
Your girlfriend should understand if she has epilepsy that there's nothing you can do about it. Try and warn people in your life that you may have a seizure so they can be prepared when it happens. It's a medical disorder and you shouldn't feel guilty. I know it's upsetting, but you can't control it. Whoever was around you should've made sure the 2yr old wasn't anywhere near you while you were having a seizure.
The most you can do is talk to your doctor and warn those around you so you don't have a similar incident in the future.

Just find a good dr.Evidently this one isn't giving you the right medicine or the right dosage. I do understand her concern. She's trying to get you help by telling you to go to the dr. Yes, I agree with that. I'm sure you do too. There are all kinds of people on Y/A. You've gotta take the bad with the good. You shouldn't be alone too much in case you need help with your seizures. If she moves out..hopefully you'll find another friend to move in..maybe someone who doesn't have a child. Do you go to a support group? You could probably find someone there who might need a roommate too. Hope you get it under control You owe it to yourself to find a good dr. who can help you.Keep trying to find one. Good Luck.

If your Girlfriend knows about your epilepsy, she should've made sure her boy was well out of the way once you started seizing. Accidents do happen. What does she expect your GP to do? Remove part of your brain?
