Being a psychiatrist would certainly be a more interesting occupation! It takes much skill and patience to be one though, and you really need to be an empathic person. I could see it being a mentally rewarding job in many ways. I couldn't see being a dentist as very much fun!
I would think you would need more schooling to be a psychiatrist however, by several years, but could potentially earn much more in private practice.
Who cares. Just be a dentist. Psychiatrists are lunatics.
