I have bipolar and feel so crap although i'm manic at the moment any help?!

Question: Sounds like you might be in a mixed state. I tend to try to stay away from others and reduce all distractions as much as possible (no tv, radio, etc) when in a mixed state because EVERYTHING seems to piss me off.

Reading a great book helps during this phase for me... Here is a good/great recent book... JUMPER by Stephen Gould. Its about teleportation.

Maybe you need your meds tweaked a little until you get back to the elusive "center".

Here's looking at you.

Bipolar disorder can be very serious and need professional attention. That's the help you need. See your doc about it.

Wow me to. At the last day of school i started feeling bad and i ended up crying. You should go see a doctor. You can try taking depresants. It worked for me. :)

who said you're bipolar? ..you? ....
...if a doctor told you your bipolar and "manic", .then they would have you on medication. so talk to them, not yahoo.,

..for right now, ..go for a long, fast walk, its GUARANTEED "medicine" ...and to help.

if you are on medication, you should not have severe problems anymore. i'd suggest going to your psychiatrist and get a higher dose or change meds. i take lamictal and have for a year....have only like two episodes every few months.
sleeping helps you a lot....eat some fish or seafood, that will reduce your irritability and depression. do some yoga or other exercising routines...EAT BETTER!!!! since you are in a manic stage again, stay away from soda, coffee, alcohol, energy drinks, smoking cigarettes or weed. they're all depresants to people with mental disorders.
look up relieving mania or bipolar disorder then look up nutrition and bipolar disorder. google can give you some good sites to go to. research breathing exercises. hope this helps! also, if you live in an area (in the US) that is not covered with ice or snow and ya have a car to drive (don't forget the money!) go to Target or Wal-Mart and buy some "Bayer nutritional Sceince" supplements. (research on omega 3 supplements by the way) these supplements are meant to take daily and it can help reduce your mania.

i understand completely i am manic depressive, bipolar, have anxiety/panic attacks. it will get better once your meds all kick in and work together right. till then do your best to find things that keep you and your mind busy.
