have you spoken to your doctor, you may have to cut back on what your are doing, for example delay college for a year or so, to give you more time to recover, get support from your family, if your college work is more important to you than work and can afford to give up work, then do things the other way around.

Unless your eating disorder is life threatening, then with medical help, you can most likely sort yourself out without going into an institution.

Doing too much at one time can cause extra stress on your mind, which is not helping your eating disorder, and with a four year old to look after you need to look after yourself as well as her.

give yourself time to think about what is important to you, ask for help from family and friends.

Good luck on your recovery.

Could you tell your parents and move home for as long as it would take to recover...if not parents how about an aunt or friend who would help you with your child while you are in therapy.

you need to take the time to get yourself help. it's not something you can get through overnight. you have to find the reasons why you have an eating disorder, and then it's a long process of recovery. your daughter will thank you in the end.

You have to MAKE the time to get help. Reset your priorities!

GO TO GOD. GET IT.

Do you have any family around? Maybe instead of taking summer classes, you could take medical leave from work and leave your child with your extended family for a while. If there is no way to do that, then you could go to weekly counseling. Either way, whatever is going on needs to be taken care of, and soon.

What you should do is calm down and plan your time wisely so you will have time to do your school work and have time with you daughter. You should also start eating because you are just hurting yourself and if something happens to you, your daughter will suffer. So start eating, good luck!!!!!!!

You need to take care of yourself and eat a healthy diet if not for you then do it so that your daughter can have a healthy mom and someone to look up to. What would you do for your daughter if she had your problem? What you would do for her you need to do for yourself.

If you can't see a therapist on a regular basis please at least discuss this with a counselor at the college. These suggestions should help also. Keep your focus off your weight, and enjoy the benefits of better health.

diet:
Try five to six mini meals a day to stabilize blood sugars. Increase water, fruit, veggie, nut, fiber, whole grain, low-mercury fish, and lean meat intake. Add buckwheat, wheat germ, tempeh, ground flaxseed, flaxseed oil, olive oil, and fresh herbs (basil, parsley, sage, chives, rosemary) to your foods.

exercise:
Mix cardio (burns calories) and weight training (muscle burns more calories). cardio: run around the park with your daughter, dance, jog, swim, jump rope--anything to keep moving. weights (free weights and machines): for each set do a different number of reps at a different weight. For added help in losing weight and gaining muscle, follow your workouts with a soy-whey protein shake with milk or soymilk. I like chocolate Almond Breeze. You can add fruit, nuts, peanut butter, and/or fiber powders like Benefiber or Fibersure.

Hey Brandi. What's going on with you? You need to be healthy for your kid. No more messing around! Talk to your Dr. Explain your situation & see what he/she says. Whatever he/she tells you that you need to do then you must do it. As long as you really trust your Dr. Good luck & please, keep me posted on how you are doing. (((hugs)))
