Lithium Carbonate... Anyone Else Get This?!
Question: I have been on lithium carbonate for a couple years and recently I get very disoriented. Not like a vertigo, but I'm kind of like off my rocker sort of speaking. Only at times this happens. I also take Prozac, but I tried taking it later than the lithium and it doesn't have this effect.
My doctor did say I need to have my lithium levels checked, but I don't have health insurance or a job yet... so thats not really an option at this second.
Could that be what I feel?

You should have your levels checked every 6 weeks to make sure they dont go to high it can be dangerous if they do, so please get them done its just a simple blood test.
It could also be a manic episode and you might need all your meds adjusted, trust me you need to look into this more.
Have your medications reevaluated.
