call 1-800-273-talk.

Ask for a crisis line in your area. You have options and they can step you through what is a very complicated system, including court ordered treatment.

They can send a crisis team to your house.

A facility can only do a 72 hour hold on an involuntary person (Someone that does not want to stay). They cannot keep her past that if she is not a DTS/DTO.

Call the crisis line. They are your best resource and can help you.

This is really serious but i dont know what advice to give you, she needs to be in hospital sign her in again and meet her doctor and try to explain how serious her condition is, i would be shocked if they let her out in that state he is a danger to herself after all acting on those impulses.

wow, me and my ex broke up because she was doing crazy things besides cutting herself, then she said months later that she is taking medicine because she is either bi polar or manic depression. anyway, she still talks to me but i can't handle the way she is, seriously i think she's using her condition as a way to do crazy things so nobody will feel as bad.

She needs to get her meds readjusted and stay on them every day.

Was she diagnosed with it? My husband has it and it is not a fun disease. Try persuading her to get help. My husband shot him self..... Please get her help, and make sure she takes the meds. Can you commit her? Go to the court house and sign papers. And call her therapist. Lots of luck.... You need it I feel for you.

Call them again and tell them what is going on. Don't say she is suicidal. The fact that she won't take her meds and is dangerous behind the wheel of a car is sufficient to warrant their further evaluation of her.

She has more going on than bipolar disorder.

You need to call now.

Sorry to hear about your condition.. either your mom is very bi polar or she also has schizophrenia. try to explain to doctors how she is at home and that your scared for her safety. if not, try to get her sent to a home.

that's not symptoms of bipolar disorder....when i was untreated, i didn't feel threatened by color of cars...or anything like that. she seems like she a schizophrenic if she is having those kind of hallucinations. but you need to call 911. tell them your mother is starting to do really crazy things and you feel she is a threat to herself and to you. schizophrenia also has symptoms of hallucinating that people are out to get you and all that....
