Is there a cure for Dyslexia?!

Question: Your view?

Answers: Your view?

No, not a cure but you can learn to cope with it. My son's dyslexia is considered severe. I home schooled him from the first grade when I found out he couldn't keep up with the other children. After educating myself on dyslexia I learned what a person needs in order to cope with dyslexia. There's a lot of good material out there to help you. Remember repetition, repetition, like a circle. Concentrate on strengths and not just weaknesses. Your strengths is what will see you thru.

There is no cure for dyslexia. Just take your time when trying to spell things, and always check anything you are not sure about.

Research used to back up claims by the Dore programme - as a drug-free permanent cure for dyslexia and ADHD - was published in autumn 2006. The research was published in the journal Dyslexia and was written by Professor David Reynolds and Professor Rod Nicolson.
