What would be a reason that someone constantly talks about poopie?!
Question: I know its a weird question, but I talk about it all the time!! My wife started noticing it!! When we are in the car, I change the words in the song on the radio to be about poop! When I sing songs to my son, I change the words to talk about poop! The little pet names for my wife and kid usually revolve around poop! I make fart sounds all the time if my wife bends over or something!! However when it comes to someone actually pooping, it should be a private matter not to be discussed! If my wife says "I'll be back, I gots ta poop." I get disgusted by it and mad that she said it. Also I will never actually talk about me actually pooping, cause it disgusts me as well and I don't think people need to know about it.
Is this normal? Why do I do that? Could this be some kind of mental problem? I seriously want to know!!

I don't think your condition is as serious as the Poop-Associated Guilt Syndrome (PAGS), but you could post a question there if you truly wish more information.
not very normal. maybe as a kid you had some wierd encounter with poop. or maybe as a kid you had a habit of saying and some habits grow old with you.

It's a kid thing. You need to grow up!! Are you the only one laughing? If so..that should tell you something. If others are laughing ..then you're probably doing it for that attention. Try to find a "cleaner" joke. You can still make people laugh and be a "clown"..but you'll be able to do it in an adult way.If you were 14 yr. old...I'd STILL tell you to "grow up" and stop doing it! (That's what I tell our 14 year old!! He does it too...only with sound effects! )
Your son must be still in Grade school is he?? My children are all still in grade school and i do that sort of stuff all the time too !! I think it's because we know that their smutty little minds are going to find it totally hysterical and their going to laugh like drains each and every time we use the "poopoo" words?

My mom tells me it's about time i grew up quite a lot but, hey, i don't worry about it cos i think it's just as funny as the kids do?Anyways, who wants to grow up and stress like an adult?? Yea thats normal... Poop is a name that is for everything .. Like in the press... "Whats the poop on this story?" Poop is a nature progress.. Some people don't like it as it has to delay it... Poop sounds dirty in it's name.. It's something everyone has to enjoy.. Get a load off your mind....
sounds like your just having a good time with a funny subject but your right when you actually have to use the restroom all jokes should stop at least until you get out oh yeah i was eating chinese food the other day and on the menue the had a pu pu platter gross

save my farts and run up to them if i need to do one
play quizes like giving them ultimatums, if theyd rather drink wee or lick poop
start talking about poop when theyr eating
if my husband wants to get busy in bed and im not in the mood i say that i just made diareah
my list can go on forever,,, maybe im worse than you, my husband would like me to grow up too xxxxxxxx
I think this is a subject that has made you laugh for a long, long time. You are very use to talking this way. It is kind of a habit. It is up to you if you want to continue doing this or stopping. Maybe you are questioning this at this time because you are getting tired of the pattern.
