HI, how can i deal with my neigbord??!
Question: I just got my laminated floor done in my condo and my neighbord downtairs is complainig a lot. she says that when my 10 month old son crawls her lights shakes. she comes and nocks on my door at 5:20 pm, or 2:00 pm. my son goes to bed at 7:00 pm and he is up at 8:00 am. and he is only 25 pounds. i don't understand how he can make her lights shake by crawling. Whats gonna happen when he starts walking.
last night she complained about the dog. she said that she couldn't have a quite dinner because she could hear my "yorkie" that is 7 pounds, walking.
What can i do?
I dont think i'm doing anything wrong.

1 of 2 things you can do.
1} Buy her some flowers and some cheap noise cancel
head phones and tell her your sorry about the noise.
2) Buy a really good streo system with gaint speakers, get some hip hop / rap with a really strong base line, crank it up all the way and when she knocks on the door tell you can't here **** cause you just got a bad *** system to drown out the noise of an infiant crawling
I would go with #2 but that just me.
Talk with your landlord about it.

youre not doing anything wrong... shes just an old hag who is misrable and she wants everyone else to be misrable too... next time she knocks on your door, that night like at 3am go bang on her door and say "i couldnt have a quiet sleep because of your snoring!!"
yeah, i don't know what you should do, but the term is "neighbor." unless neigbord is some weird new term i haven't yet heard of.
Your condo is probably wood construction, and no sound proofing between floors. When you had laminate installed it probably created an echo effect, and sounds louder downstairs than upstairs. You might be able to fix it by soundproofing between the floors. As for her light shaking when your 10 month old crawls, I kind of doubt it. But for the sake of being a good neighbor, suggest she have her light fixture checked to be sure it is fastened in properly. Other than that she needs to take it up with the HOA council of your condo. It is not your responsibility to put walk on egg shells so she has the peace she wants. Your condo assn. is responsible for mainting the common areas, if there is a problem with the joists of her ceiling (your floor) its their responsibility to repair it.
Want to show her or yourself if this is true or not?
Have someone watch your son while you take your mother or sister or brother with you to see if her lights shake. Next, when your dog is walking, do the same thing. Make sure you do these things at the hours she said or came to complain about it. The proof will be there.
Should she be wrong and refuses to stop harassing you, go to your condo association president and ask him to do the same thing with you for your baby and when your dog are on the floor.
Your problem will be known as to what is really going on. I hope it's not your floor. They are very beautiful. People prefer carpeting as it is quiet and more warmer and comfortable.

it's impossible for an incredibly small dog like a yorkie (they're cute by the way) and a baby to shake someones ceiling....cause she shoulda complained bout YOU shaking her ceiling...considering you weigh more than they do! you're not doing anything wrong, seriously, if she heard you walking...then yeah,that'd make more sense...but not your little doggie and baby! tell her it's impossible if she can't hear you walk. talk to the landlord...cause she's seriously nuts. sorry you have an annoying neighbor! i had an old next-door neighbor who used to go in my back yard and dig around the fence separating our yards because he complaining the water from our pool would drown his yard...somehow haha. so i know what you're goin through. just tell her to stop and get some help and tell your landlord ab out it. she's harassing you, you're doing NOTHING wrong
Buy a house
Tell your landlord about her habitual bitching. If she wanted to live in total silence, she should have chosen a remote location, single person dwelling
Tell her that you have a problem with her chickens sh*ting in your tea pot, and slam the door on her.
