maybe ur thinking u might meet mr. right

It qualifies as OCD if it interrupts with your daily life and consumes a large part of your thoughts.

Otherwise, it's just a personality quirk =)

I had OCD when I was little. So I can tell you with experience that if you have to ask if you have OCD or not, then you don't have it. OCD is a major pain and you definitely know it if you have it.

Your behavior is not very strange. You're ok. You'll grow out of it.

This is not a full blown OCD , it may be called slight OCD trait but virtually everyone has some such habit. If it increases further or migrated into some other obsession , then you will have to observe.

MANY people have small little OCD quirks as you have described. In fact I have yet to meet anyone who doesnt. However, if you find yourself doing things like this constantly (matching, counting, sorting, etc), and it is disrupting your life, please see a doctor or a mental health professional as that could be OCD.

I have OCD and I do things like that, but I put it down to wanting to look good if someone sees me in them, which i think is normal.

Though If matching underwear is unavailable, and then you cannot leave the house, then you might have it.

Have you ever become realy concerned over something small? eg. that you left germs on a tap and you spent several mins trying to make it sterile? That is more classic of OCD.

Anyway don't worry. A diagnosis is good, because then you can choose whether to take medication/therapy or not, plus you can get extra time etc to complete exams at university or school if you need it.

You won't be disadvantaged by a diagnosis I promise.
