What are your diagnostic impressions of this man's behavior?!

Question: This is second hand info recently relayed to me...

Apparently man, dating a woman, which is voicerferously opposed by her 9 year old daughter was sitting on a sofa next to the woman when he was rebuked by another woman in the room for his alleged tone and remark to the 8 year old. Reputedly it was liberally sprinkled with four letter words.

When rebuked, the man allegedly turned to the guest and called her a pig and a swine before stamping home.

The general consensus appears to be that he is suffering from a form or mental illness due to his extreme moodiness. On prior occasions he has allegedly gone from calm to verbally combative for no apparent reason.

What are we dealing with here. I would appreciate it if those with insight into mental illness and diagnostic experience would give me their impressions.

Thanks

I'm no expert, but that sounds like bipolar disorder to me.

may be he is depressed?

had he been drinking or doing drugs prior?

he really needs to seek mental health services, maybe you can get him to see someone at a crisis center or hospital, but you need to keep him at a distant if he don't get the help he needs , and keep him away from children ,if you know something is mentally wrong with this man and don't get him help and he loses it some time on some one than its going to be on your conscience
