You might be afraid that your friend will be mad if you tell, but you can't keep this a secret. First of all, you'll never forgive yourself if he dies. Secondly, the kid needs help and you're not the one to give it. Call 9-1-1 no matter what the kid says. Adults need to be involved in this.
