Does this bother you?!

Question: Does it bother you that the day zooms by too fast to really enjoy anything?

I mean you wake up, and next thing you know its dinner, then its bed, then you wake up and the same thing happens

Also, when you are a baby its like a dream, then you wake up and your 15, then you blink and your 40...

I do not like how the day goes so fast =(

Anyone else have the same feeling?

Yes, yes, yes. I'm in a Peter Pan stage right now. I'm turning 16 soon and really, really don't want to. Sometimes I'll just be sitting around think where all the time has gone and what I'm not doing with it. It's a sad thing knowing that we'll never get time back.

Yea. And then I feel like s*** because I've managed to accomplish absolutly nothing. I get the same feeling except multiplied by 20 at New Years. It's like...another year of failure. All these 12 year olds are wanting to grow up. I WISH I could be 12 again!

yes it makes mee mad but then when i.m in school it goes by to slow !

I have this feeling sometimes i look back and cant figure out where all the time went and i wonder what i actually did with the last few years

sort of.......but idk i never thought about it really!

yes, i feel a sense of waste because so much time is spent taking care of the "have to" things and not enough is spent on the "want to" stuff.

i have to honestly say though that i have done better in the last year or two. i've realized that the world can survive without me for a short while. it was vane of me to ever think it couldn't. i've taken vacations i always said i would, i've taken days off from work to make love all day, one of the last pretty warm fall days i took off from work and just laid by a creek all day with a friend basking in the sun.

i realize now that by doing this i am a happier person and i'm better for everyone else too. our society had instilled in us that we have to be productive 24-7. you have to take time to get off the crazy merry-go-round and ground yourself. i think it is because i lost my last remaining parent about a year ago. it has made me realize how short life truly is. the world and the people in it can make their demands and normally i try to comply. i've just decided that i have the right to make a few demands too...some time off...besides, isn't that what vacation and sick time is for???

take time to do all the things you've ever wanted while you are still young and healthy enough to do it...the luxury to do that won't be around forever.

I get the same feeling.

Human lives are mostly a terrible waste of resources anyway. There are some humans that managed to accomplish great things in life, e.g. Da Vinci, Beethoven, Newton, Einstein, Disney, Buddha etc.. But many of them just live day by day. Work, play ball, eat spaghetti & meatballs, have sex, pass on genes, grow old, get sick, "Hi Mr. Death"
