Do i have an ED?!

Question: I eat.
Not A Lot.
And when I do, I usually spit it out, unless I'm on some giant binge :/ and when I do swallow I feel incredibly guilty. I hate food. Alls I drink is Water & Diet Coke.
I am a regular visitor of Pro-Ana sites,
I take diet pills...

I exercise a LOT.
I've lost some weight, but I still think I look like a blimp. :[

& I want to eat normal, I Just can't.

I was thinking about going to the school psychologist, to see if he can help me...

but, am I just being over dramatic?
or do I have a problem?

It sounds like you have emotional issues surrounding eating and drinking and you go to a lot of extreme behaviours to go along with your emotional reactions to food. That is definitely an eating disorder.

You're right to think about going to the school psychologist and ask for help. I think that's a really good idea, and its really good that you've thought of it yourself and are considering it. They can probably help you find a counselor to help you work through the emotional issues you have and work on strategies to get you eating in a more healthier way and not feel so guilty about something completely normal.

I really hope you go and talk to them... good luck with this. I have a friend with an eating disorder and she let it spiral out of control before getting help... and now its much harder for her to heal from it.

Yes, me thinketh you have a problem.

The fact that you have raised the issue suggests that there is a problem, after all who else but we the owners know best our own bodies and mind.
Go and see your doctor they will be best informed to advise you. If there is a problem be positive the fact that you have asked for help is a very encouraging sign that will help you.

Visiting pro Ana sites is evidence that you have an eating disorder. This is a very serious matter, as it is nearly psychotic. People who weigh 80 lbs. will look at themselves in a mirror and see themselves dripping with fat. This amount of distortion in perception is clearly abnormal, and unhealthy. Please seek help.

The fact that you know all the relevant factors in determining whether you have an eating disorder indicates that you already know you have a problem. That's fantastic that you realise it although you're probably in denial a bit cos it's a difficult thing to accept. Please don't let it go any further cos it really can kill. Talk to your family or doctor about getting help before it properly takes over and you lose control altogether. It's tough but talking to someone about it is the right thing to do. The school psychologist sounds like a really good place to start. Good luck. X

you sound just like me...i had a problem with cutting and i knew the extent of how bad it was, but i wasnt sure if i had an actual problem

get help...it is a problem...but you are strong!!!!! ive been saying that so many times on so many questions ive answered today, but believe it..you are strong!!!!!!!! and get help...bf its too late...

Yes, you do have a problem. Definately talk to your school psychologist. You need to stop "encouraging" your disorder by visiting this horrible pro-anorexia sites. I know you may feel ambivalence towards sticking with your disorder and getting better -it's normal. But it's good you've recognized the problem.

Recovery is possible, may not be immediate, but it's possible.

*hugs*

definitely go talk to the school psychologist and seek treatment.
I was anorexic for years. Even at 90lbs all I saw was fat. It warps your perception of everything, and takes over your life. I lost many years of my life that I'm not going to get back, and am paying the price for now.

Definitely seek help so you can get back to your life and keep your health.

Nah you can't have erectile dysfunction if you're a girl.
