Can someone help?!?!?!


Question: Ok so I have this...what I like to call it "sleeping disorder". I'm tired, but I just can't sleep! It takes forevers! What can I do?

Depends on your age and stress in your life. sometimes it is all in your mind, you have lots of ideas in your head write them down to help clear your mind.
Maybe try OTC medicine for sleeping.
If all else fails see a Dr.

take sleeping pills...and go to a doctor..... u have insomnia

Sleeping Pills may help I guess but do not depend on it. Why don't you try seeing a doctor?

How long have you had it? This happens normally to people at least 1-2 times a month, where we just can't go to sleep no matter what. But if its more than 3 times a week, then you should seek help. See if NyQuil works, but for me it doesn't because it gives me the opposite reaction: keeps me awake all night. You may want to talk to your parents about it... sleeping disorders suck and should be treated.

your mind is tired, your body is not. tire yourslef out. also relaxation techniques like meditatio n is said to work everytime!

I used to have that too, I would too see a doctor. But I ended up making sure, I didnt drink or eat anything after 7pm and did some reading, even flicking through a magazine and it seemed to have helped, it took a few days but it worked. I even started going to bed an hour earlier than usual, so I would hopefully get to sleep by a normal time.

i also have a sleeping disorder but it's a different kind..
every night when i sleep i keep waking up every 1-3 hrs.. not because i feel uncomfortable.. and not because i dream.. i just suddenly wake up.. really weird..

I CANT SLEEP EITHER......I JUST GOT UP AT 2am AND I SEEN A DOCTOR ABOUT IT.....

emmm do you like go to bed and cant get to sleep or do you like not even bother going to bed coz you cant sleep.
what happens to me is if i go asleep during the day at like 1pm for like an hour. i cant go to sleep that night like id be in bed for like 3hrs not able to go asleep. id b lying there from one til four in the morning sometimes!! its gay!! but what helps me get to sleep is to close your eyes.....and clear you mind. if your mind is active thinking bot stuff you wont get to sleep that quickly! it will take for ever! i know from experiance! so clear your mind just lie there and think about absolutly nothing! i promise you'll be asleep within 5-10mins! it works for me! try it!! ok....guwwwwd luck with your sleeping problem! hope it works out for you! hope i helped! night night!! lol. just kinding!! ;) x

You might have sleep apnea, a condition where a person doesn't reach that deep restful sleep we all need to function properly because they keep waking themselves up. Snoring is one cause of it. The person actually stops breathing for a brief period. Many people who have it doesn't even realize they do.

You also need to cut out any type of caffeine including coffee, tea, and soda at least two hours before bedtime. It wouldn't hurt to stay away from caffeine altogether for about three days to see if that helps.

Any type of exercise, even mild, before bedtime is also a bad idea. You're pumped from the workout and it takes a while to settle back down.

One good rule I've heard about is to make your bed your sanctuary. If you don't fall asleep within 15 minutes then get up and do something. By just lying there, or tossing and turning you view your bed as a dreadful place to be.

ask the doctor for a prescription of sleeping pills or read a boring book until you felt drowsy.

ask doctor
check your thyroid
have some mild hot milk before bed time
you can take some herbal tea for sleeping
listen light music before sleeping
read romantic books before sleeping
dont be anxious that you have to sleep
resting in bed with closed eyes is equally good

Go to your doctor..They can go thru the questions related to sleep problems..Like do you drink alot of caffeine during the day..are you eat ting sugar up to dinner time..Are there stresses in your life causing this..etc
