I am scared that I will start doing stupid things to myself?!

Question: [I already asked this question but I think I put it in the wrong section] Lately, I have been much more aware of my weight than usual. Where I am, it is hard to be physically active because it is always snowy and cold outside. I don't have money to go to a gym or to buy any exercise equipment. I have a bit of difficulty getting a good method of exercise. I am sixteen years old and I'm finding myself guilty after every meal, no matter what I eat or how big (I don't even eat big meals). Part of me knows that this is wrong but the other part of me is saying that it's ok and it's normal. But I have had thoughts of cutting down almost everything that I'm eating. I'm told I have a small waist but when I sit down I notice it seems like there's more fat than usual. Is this normal? What can I do about it? I don't want to start doing stupid things like not eating or purging. But there is so much pressure around here for girls to be skinny, especially because I am a ballroom dancer. Advice please

I have the same problem right now. I often think about purging but i know i would never do it. Not only is it not healthy but it ruins your teeth. It is perfectly normal to question your weight at your age and these are the years where you tend to gain more weight. But if your really concerned in loosing weight what you can do is train the muscles where you want. It really works. You can just surf the web for possible exercises that pinpoint one body part.

Do some yoga it will help you feel better mentally and physically. Buy a video from the store and do it in your room every morning.

What is your height and weight? Then we could tell if you really have a problem or not. If you really want to excercise, you could take a DVD or video tape out of the library and do it at home. (aerobics or kickboxing) Or you could walk up and down your stairs for 30 minutes without stopping.
But first, the issue is whether you really have a weight problem or not. (although everyone should excercise regardless of weight.)

there is nothing for you to be concern
wen a person sits down there is always a Little bulging in the middle skinny people show them to so you are ok and don't let other girls influence you about you wight
