Is it okay for you shrink to call the people you work with and talk to them abou!

Question: I hate my shrink. He is a jerk. I wish I had never started going to him. I used to be fine before. I just was scared to go outside. I was fine in my house. He called everyone I worked with and would ask questions about me!

Just because I was hallucinating doesn't mean I was losing my mind!

seriously! this jerkoff needs his license revoked!

no its not ok...if u signed confidentiality forms in the beginning which u should have then he could be in a lot of trouble if you decide to press charges

It is likely that the same illness which is causing your hallucinations is also causing you to believe (mistakenly) that your psychiatrist is plotting against you (calling your colleagues, etc). Psychiatrists do NOT contact ANYONE without your express permission and signed, time-limited consent forms.

NO THAT IS NOT OK!!! A dr. has to keep your information confidential unless you said something to him that made him think you were going to hurt yourself or someone else.

I would call him on it and if you need to, get other's invoved to help you face him.

No, that is not ok. He is completely overstepping his bounds and violating doctor-patient confidentiality.

If you've not been court ordered to see him, stop going and block his number on the office telephones.

That kind of stuff is supposed to be illegal, but my experience is that mental health professionals not only do not kep your information confidential ,they set up networks to watch you and spread your info everywhere you go to keep tabs on you. They also do not help at all.I'm worse off than i was at fifteen.

No that is not okay for your shrink to do. He is not a very good shrink. Hallucinating does not mean you are losing your mind you are right. IT IS POSSIBLE TO HALLUCINATE FROM EXTREMELY HIGH LEVELS OF STRESS and/or lack of sleep.
